Sometimes I just crave a burger and fries ... with a twist. Tonight, we grilled up some burgers with added some homemade creamy blue cheese dressing and baked sweet potato fries. Add a lovely french hamburger bun from Fresh Market and we were in business. All that was missing was a vanilla shake ... but that would be overkill ... or would it?
Blue Cheese Dressing
1/3 cup milk
4 oz softened cream cheese1 cup mayo
4 oz blue cheese (or more to taste)
Mix in bowl and should be nice and lumpy. This dressing is also wonderful when served with an iceberg wedge.
Sweet Potato Fries
3-5 sweet potatoes - peeled and cut into steak fry size
Toss in bag with olive oil - just enough to coat
Season with garlic salt and pepper
Bake at 400 turning occasionally for approx 30 min or until golden brown
